Sticker Application Instructions
- Make sure the surface you've chosen for your stickers is CLEAN, DRY, AND COOL (make sure your car has not been sitting in the hot sun).
- If you are applying a set of stickers, plan the spacing out before applying the first sticker.
- Your sticker will arrive covered by a sheet of transfer tape (similar to masking tape). The transfer tape allows you to apply the whole sticker at once, so you don't have to try to reconstruct the design from all the separate pieces of the sticker. Use the edge of a plastic ID card to GENTLY rub the transfer tape along all the edges of each part of the sticker.
- Slowly and gently begin peeling the transfer tape away from the sticker backing. If part of the sticker does not come off onto the transfer tape, lay that part of the tape back down and rub gently again with the plastic ID card. Hints: for most designs it works best to peel the tape away from the bottom of the design upward. You can also try to peel from the sides. Try not to grab the tape and pull it out toward you.
- The entire sticker should now be stuck to the transfer tape. Position the tape on the surface where you want to apply the sticker.
- Use the edge of the plastic ID card to GENTLY rub the transfer tape along all the edges of the sticker. Give a little extra attention to any small parts of the design.
- Slowly and gently begin peeling the transfer tape away from the surface you have chosen. The transfer tape should peel away, leaving the sticker applied to the surface. If part of the sticker remains stuck to the transfer tape, lay that part of the tape back down and rub gently again with the plastic ID card. Hints: for most designs it works best to peel the tape away from the bottom of the design upward. You can also try to peel from the sides.
